Warren and Kerry Wilkie are the owners of Toowoomba Rod & Custom Shop. This Hot Rod business caters for the serious hot rodder who requires something special in his project.

Warren has been building hot rods since he was 16, that’s more than 32 years of experience. Warren has had great success in shows and national events, with his own cars and cars that he has built for customers.

Warren travels to the USA regularly to buy specialised stock for the shop, and for his customers. He checks out hot rod shops and parts suppliers for the current trends. Warren can capture and build that American style of hot rod for his customers, and specialises in pre 1940 Ford’s, especially Model A’s, 32 and 34’s.

From building new chassis in specially made jigs to doing custom exhaust, brake line routing, restoration of old steel Ford bodies, chopped tops, louvre pressing of panels, panel fabrication, chassis detailing and full assembly of vehicles to turn-key stage.

In keeping with the current trends, and the growing number of companies producing steel bodies, we have recently completed two Brookville roadsters and are currently building a Brookville fully fendered and chopped 3 window coupe, and another ‘32 hiboy roadster.

We also manufacture a line of our own traditional hot rod parts, and all our work is carried out by tradesman and is guaranteed.
